Recipes
We have combined many different botanicals and spices into our exquisite hand crafted spirits.
We have experimented with all sorts of different cocktails to get the most out of our flavoursome Spiced Rum and our refreshing Dry Gin.
We have chosen three cocktails for each of our spirits that enhance the exquisite spices of the Golden Wake and listed them below
These are just reccomended amounts.. Feel free to mix and match to personal preference and if you feel you’ve improved it - please don’t hesitate to send the improved recipe to us!
Mojito
6 ingredients
50ml Golden Wake Spiced Rum
100ml Soda Water
25ml Sugar Syrup
2wedges - Lime Wedge
7leaves -Mint Leaves
1piece -Mint Sprig
Method
Add mint and lime to a glass.
Pour in sugar syrup.
Muddle the ingredients.
Half fill your glass with crushed ice..
Add Golden Wake Spiced Rum into the glass and top with soda water.
Stir the mixture thoroughly. Add more crushed ice to fill the glass and garnish with a sprig of mint
The Skipper
4 Ingredients:
75ml of Spiced Rum
25ml of Dry Vermouth
Dash of Grenadine
100ml of orange juice
Method
Add Spiced Rum, Dry Vermouth, orange juice and a dash of Grenadine into a shaker with plenty of ice.
Shake well.
Half fill your chilled cocktail glass with crushed ice..
Pour the contents of the shaker over ice.
Garnish with a wheel of orange, or a slice of lemon.
Enjoy!
Neptunes Nectar
5 Ingredients
200ml of golden Wake spiced rum
50ml of Peach Schnapps
50ml of Advocaat
150ml of Cranberry juice
150ml of Pineapple Juice
Method
Add Golden Wake Spiced rum, peach Schnapps, Advocaat, cranberry and pineapple juice into a shaker with lots of ice
Fill a cocktail glass with crushed ice
Shake a shaker maker!(shake well)
Pour over ice
Garnish with sliced strawberry to taste
Enjoy!
